خانم پوپک رحمتیان Mrs. Popak Rahmatian
از جمله مفاخر ورزشی خاندان ، خانم پوپک رحمتیان هستند که در رشته والیبال فعالیت حرفه ای دارند .
خانم پوپک رحمتیان فرزند خانم مهرنازصالحی ، نوه مرحومه خانم فخرالملوک قندی ، نتیجه مرحوم حاج محمدصادق قندی ، نبیره حاج محمدکاظم قندی و ندیده حاج محمدموسی تاجر طهرانی می باشد. وی که متولد 6 بهمن سال می باشد دارای مدرک لیسانس ارتباطات و فوق لیسانس روزنامه نگاری است.
فعالیت ورزشی خود را از دوره راهنمایی در تیم بسکتبال مدرسه روش نو در منطقه 6 تهران آغاز کرده و در مسابقات بسکتبال آموزشگاه ها چندین بار قهرمان منطقه شده اند. پس از مهاجرت به انگلستان رشته ورزشی خود را به والیبال تغییر داده و در سال 2011 به تیم والیبال ایرانیان لندن ملحق گردید. در لیگ والیبال لندن از دسته 3 تا دسته 1 پیشرفت نموده و در مسابقات والیبال ساحلی تمام ملیت ها مقام اول را کسب نمود. در سال 2024 به تیم فینکس لندن ملحق گردید و در حال حاضر در لیگ دسته یک والیبال بانوان شهر لندن با پیراهن شماره 11 فعالیت حرفه ای دارد.
Among the distinguished sporting figures of the family is Mrs Popak Rahmatian, who is professionally active in the sport of volleyball.Mrs Popak Rahmatian is the daughter of Mrs Mehrnaz Salehi, the granddaughter of the late Mrs Fakhr-ol-Molouk Ghandi, the great-granddaughter of the late Haj Mohammad Sadegh Ghandi, the great-great-granddaughter of Haj Mohammad Kazem Ghandi, and the great-great-great-granddaughter of Haj Mohammad Mousa, the Tehran merchant. She was born on 26 January and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and a Master’s degree in Journalism.
She began her sporting career during secondary school as a member of the basketball team at Roshno School in District 6 of Tehran, winning the regional schools’ basketball championship on several occasions. After emigrating to England, she changed her sporting discipline to volleyball and in 2011 joined the Iranian Volleyball Team of London. She progressed in the London Volleyball League from Division 3 to Division 1 and achieved first place in a multi-national beach volleyball competition.
.In 2024, she joined the Phoenix London team and is currently playing professionally in the London Women’s Division One Volleyball League, wearing no. 11.
